Bicycling.com: Detroit Bike’s $300 Sparrow Is an Urban Singlespeed with Tour De France Cred

Detroit Bikes has teamed up with famed custom bike designer Ben Serotta to offer a $300 city bike that is claimed to be durable, lightweight, and easy to maintain. A limited first run is available to pre-order on Kickstarter now, with delivery expected in June.

The Sparrow ships direct to the consumer and arrives 95 percent assembled with the tools required to finish the job—a five-minute job according to Detroit’s representatives.”
