A-Type Commuter Bike

The A-Type is our classic 8-speed city bike. We package the A-type in our Detroit factory with the customer in mind.  Home final assembly is a breeze. 

Attach the quick-release front wheel, install the pedals, adjust the seat, and you're ready to ride. We also include a free Detroit Bikes floor pump with every order. 

This is a bike made for all purpose city riding. The fenders will keep you dry and the rack allows you to transport your homework, legal briefs, or a bag of tamales. If you have any sizing questions or would like anything on your bike customized (a larger seat, for example) - email us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request - info@detroitbikes.com
